Damaso Reyes has joined The New York Amsterdam News as an investigative editor. He is also the founding editor of The Blacklight, its new investigative unit.
He is also a media and information expert. His work has also appeared in The Christian Science Monitor, Time Asia, Der Spiegel, The Miami Herald, Forbes.com and World Policy Journal.
He also photographed international, national and New York City based breaking news, features and long form projects as a freelancer for The Associated Press, The New York Times Lens Blog, The Wall Street Journal, The Irish Times, Der Spiegel, The Miami Herald, The San Francisco Chronicle and New York magazine.
Reyes is a New York University graduate.
