The New Statesman has appointed Philippa Nuttall as editor-in-chief, environment and sustainability.
She joins from Energy Monitor, where she was also editor-in-chief.
She also provides writing, editing and strategic communication services to clients, including New Statesman, Oxfam International EU Office, Revolve Media and more.
She was also editor-in-chief of Foresight Climate & Energy, which covers the global transition to a decarbonized energy economy.
She has also held various communication roles and was a senior correspondent for Agra Europe and rural Europe. She has also held editorial roles at Global Call for Climate Action, Chemical Watch, and Decision News Media.
Nuttall is a University of Cambridge graduate.
