North Carolina paper hires Schnittker as sports writer

Andrew Schnittker

Andrew Schnittker will be joining The Wilson Times in Wilson, North Carolina as a sports writer. Currently, he is a sports editor at The Mountaineer in Waynesville, North Carolina.

His new role begins October 18.

He was also a senior writer at Canes Country, SB Nation, and wrote about North Carolina State sports for 247Sports. He was also a staff writer and then served as a sports editor at Technician in the Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina area.

He has also interned for North State Journal in the Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina area.

Schnittker graduated from North Carolina State University.
