Nilsen joins CNN’s climate team as Washington reporter

Ella Nilsen

Ella Nilsen will be joining CNN’s climate team next month as a Washington reporter covering climate policy and federal agencies.

Recently, she was a White House reporter at Vox covering domestic policy and climate. Before that, she was a staff writer at Concord Monitor.

Nilsen has also covered local news, profiles and general assignment articles as a health reporter at Keene Sentinel.

She has interned at New Hampshire Public Radio and was editor-in-chief of Main Street Magazine.

She has freelanced for New Hampshire Union Leader and interned for UNH Sustainability Academy and Salmon Press.

Nilsen is a graduate of University of New Hampshire.
