Nexstar Media journalist New set to depart

Danny New

Danny New, host of Daytime, the nationally syndicated lifestyle program that broadcasts out of WFLA, the NBC affiliate of Tampa, Florida, will be leaving.

Previously, he was co-host and producer of Mass Appeal at WWLP, the NBC-affiliate in Springfield, Massachusetts. He also served as an associate producer – sports at NBC 6 South Florida – WTVJ. He was also a digital video host and producer at Johnson & Johnson.

He also worked as an assistant sports editor at The Miami Hurricane in Coral Gables, FL.

New earned his degree in broadcast journalism from the University of Miami.
