Newsy has appointed Eric Ludgood as head of news. He joins from Fox 5 Atlanta,WAGA-TV, where he was an assistant news director.
He has also worked as a news director at WGCL-TV-CBS Atlanta and as a news director – director of content at NBC 17-WNCN-TV Raleigh North Carolina. He was also an assistant news director at WGCL-TV-CBS Atlanta.
Ludgood was also with CNN for 12 years, holding various roles, including producer, copy editor, supervising producer, executive producer, senior executive producer, managing editor, and vice president.
He was also a producer/assignment manager at WXIA-TV.
Ludgood graduated from Auburn University.
