New Yorker hires Sehgal as staff writer

Parul Sehgal will be joining The New Yorker as a staff writer.

Currently, she is an editor at The New York Times Book Review, a post she has held for over 9 years. She was also a books editor at NPR and a senior editor at Publishers Weekly.

Sehgal is a graduate of Columbia University, New York.
