New York Times taps Goldman as international weekend editor

Russell Goldman

The New York Times has promoted Russell Goldman to the post of international weekend editor.

Goldman has been with The Times for over 7 years, serving as a staff editor, senior staff editor on the international desk, and most recently as senior story editor.

Before joining The Times, he was at ABC News, where he worked as a digital journalist and producer. There, he was also the head writer of “Primetime Nightline.” He has also reported and edited for International Herald Tribune: ThaiDay.

Goldman graduated from Vassar College.
