Carlin McCarthy has joined NBC News NOW as a segment producer.
She comes from ABC News, where she worked as a digital news associate, production associate and associate producer.
McCarthy is also a broadcast/video instructor at Medill-Northwestern Journalism Institute and writes and edits for news4kids.org. She has also worked at BuzzFeed and was a video producer at TimeOut Chicago.
She has also worked at Scholastic and The Source Newspaper.
McCarthy is a graduate of Northwestern University.
