NBC News D.C. bureau appoints two to cover Capitol Hill

Haley Talbot is now a producer and off-air reporter covering Capitol Hill at NBC News. Previously, she was an associate producer covering Congress.

She has also served as a desk assistant, researcher and associate producer at the network. She also interned at MSNBC and NBCUniversal. She was also a production assistant at Tri-Valley Community Television.

She was also a sports reporter at CalTV.

Talbot is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley.

Meanwhile, NBC’s D.C. bureau has tapped Julie Tsirkin as a a field producer and off-air reporter covering Capitol Hill.

Recently, she was a reporter/producer – Capitol Hill unit. She has also interned and served as an anchor producer and digital producer at MSNBC. She has also worked as a desk assistant at NBC.

Tsirkin is a B.A. in broadcast journalism and political science from Rutgers University-New Brunswick.
