National Journal associate editor Clearfield set to depart

Alex Clearfield

Alex Clearfield, editor at National Journal and Hotline’s twice-daily campaign newsletters will be leaving after over 4 years. Previously, he served as a general assignment staff writer for both the Journal and Hotline.

He has also worked as a legislative researcher and then as a members information researcher at CQ Roll Call. He has also interned at New Partners and League of Women Voters in Washington D.C. Metro Area, and Americans for Democratic Action in Washington D.C.

Clearfield has a B.A. from Johns Hopkins University.
