MSNBC taps Aleem to cover politics and foreign policy

Zeeshan Aleem

Zeeshan Aleem will be joining MSNBC to write opinion columns on politics and foreign policy for MSNBC Daily. He will also be editing for the network.

Aleem is a New York-based freelance journalist and has had his work published in The Atlantic, The Nation, Esquire, GQ, The Guardian, Vice, Politico, Vox, HuffPost, Pacific Standard, The American Prospect, Mic and elsewhere.

He was also Washington bureau intern at BBC News.

Aleem has a B.A from George Washington University and a M.A. from University of Chicago.
