MSNBC has tapped Jesse Rodriguez as vice president, editorial and booking.
He will be focusing on high-level bookings across the network and coordinating daily editorial needs for analysis and perspective programming. He will also be managing relationships with contributors and analysts. He also oversees bookings during special coverage.
Previously, he was director of booking. He has been with MSNBC for more than 13 years, joining as a planning producer – MSNBC Dayside. He then became planning producer and was then senior producer – Morning Joe.
He has also served as an assignment editor, network news deal at NBC News and was a weeknight assignment editor at WFOR | CBS Miami. He was also a production intern at CNBC and a news writer at WSVN-TV 7News.
Rodriguez is a graduate of Florida International University.
