Kaely Monahan is now a podcast producer, creating Arizona-centric podcasts for The Arizona Republic, including the politics podcast “The Gaggle” and the human-interest pod “Valley 101.” She comes from KJZZ Phoenix, the NPR member station in Phoenix, Arizona.
She also served as an elected member of Phoenix´s Society of Professional Journalists chapter and was an affiliate reporter at ABC News. She was also an entertainment reporter at East Valley Tribune in Temple, AZ.
She has also interned at the Times and CBS News.
Monahan has a B.A. from the University of Arizona and a M.A. from City, University of London.
