McClatchy appoints Lowry to White House team

Bryan Lowry

Bryan Lowry, Washington correspondent at McClatchy, will be taking on a new position and joining the White House team.

Although his work will continue to appear in The Kansas City Star and Kansas.com, it will now also be published in the Miami Herald, The Sacramento Bee, the Charlotte Observer and other McClatchy papers.

Lowry has also served as Topeka bureau reporter at The Wichita Eagle covering state government and politics.

He has also worked at Medill News Service and Medill Watchdog.

Lowry is a M.S. in journalism from Northwestern University.
