May joins Washington Post as an operations editor

The following announcement was sent out by The Washington Post from opinions director of operations and strategy Becca Clemons and manager of editorial talent and logistics Nana Efua Mumford:

We’re excited to announce that Ethan May is joining Opinions as an Operations Editor.

After growing up on the Illinois side of the St. Louis area, Ethan studied journalism at the University of Missouri, where he graduated in 2018.

Over the last three years, he worked as a producer, reporter and editor at the Indianapolis Star. He’s passionate about writing good headlines and contributing to high-quality journalism that readers will pay for.

Outside work hours, he enjoys watching baseball, hockey and football with his cat, Rusty. He’s excited to explore D.C.’s best local coffee shops and breweries.

Please join us in welcoming Ethan. His first day is Sept. 20.
