Previously, he has served as bureau chief at Health Service Journal in London and was a health correspondent at Express & Star. He has also served as a journalist, deputy editor and then as a reporter at Your Leek Paper.
He has also worked at Adnews and The Whisper in UK.
Lintern graduated from Newcastle College.
