Jill Lawrence will be joining USA Today as a columnist. Previously, Lawrence had worked at USA Today for over 14 years, from 1996 to 2011, as a national political correspondent.
She was also managing editor, politics, and then served as a national correspondent and columnist at the National Journal. She has also contributed to The Daily Beast and was a columnist and senior correspondent at Politics Daily.
She was also a national writer, political writer and columnist at The Associated Press for 11 years.
Lawrence has a B.A. from the University of Michigan and a M.A. in journalism from New York University.
