LA Times taps Calmes as Washington-based columnist

Jackie Calmes

Jackie Calmes will now be a Washington-based columnist for the Los Angeles Times.

For the past four years, Calmes was White House editor at the paper.

She was also a White House and politics correspondent at The New York Times for over 8 years.

She also served as Congress, White House, politics reporter at The Wall Street Journal for over 17 years.
