Syracuse.com has hired Rylee Kirk as a breaking news reporter. She joins from The Arizona Republic, where she was a national politics intern.
She has also worked at the Fuller Center Macon in Georgia and at The Effingham Herald in Rincon, Georgia. She has also served as a staff writer, advertising manager, lead news writer and managing editor at The Cluster, Mercer University’s student paper.
Kirk has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Mercer University and a master’s degree in investigative journalism from Arizona State University.
