King joins BuzzFeed News as inequality editor

Jamilah King

BuzzFeed News has hired Jamilah King as an inequality editor.

She joins from Mother Jones, where she was recently host of the Mother Jones podcast, and before that served as race and justice reporter. She was also a senior staff writer at Mic.

King has also held editorial roles at Colorlines.com and Wiretap Magazine. She was also arts and culture intern at San Francisco Bay Guardian.

King graduated from Pitzer College.
