Healthing.ca has hired Maija Kappler as an editor, to cover stories about the intersection of health and culture, and other related health news, including health misconceptions.
Kappler has also freelanced with her work appearing in Medium, CBC, Yahoo Finance, The Globe and Mail, Yahoo, Financial Post, City News and more.
She was also an associate lifestyle editor at HuffPost Canada. She has also held the posts of editorial assistant and reporter at The Canadian Press.
She has also served as co-editor-in-chief of Intermission Magazine and was a senior online editor at Ryerson Review of Journalism. She has also interned at National Post.
Kappler holds a master’s degree in journalism from Ryerson University.
