The Washington Post has hired Jai-Leen James as an operations editor for Sports.
She starts July 26.
James joins from USA Today, where she was a lead producer and digital strategist for more than 30 Atlantic region news sites. Before that, she was a digital producer at Gannett’s Asbury Park Press.
She has also reported for Miami Beach Times and has served as an associate sports producer at Miami’s WSVN-TV.
James recently completed a master’s degree in digital marketing from West Virginia University and is a graduate of Towson University.
