ITV News has appointed Carly Bishop head of planning. Previously, she served as news editor.
Bishop has been with the ITN network for 11 years, where she has held various roles, including deputy news editor, economics producer and assistant news editor. She has also worked as a sports producer and then as a freelance online producer at Thomson Reuters.
Bishop has a B.A. in broadcast journalism from Staffordshire University.
