Previously, she also worked as a crime and courts reporter, and then as a digital editor at CNHI. She was also editor-in-chief of The News Record, the University of Cincinnati’s twice-a-week, student-run newspaper.
She has also freelanced for Cincinnati CityBeat and has interned at The Charlotte Observer.
DePompei has a B.A. in journalism from the University of Cincinnati.
