Houston Chronicle hires Trovall as immigration reporter

Elizabeth Trovall will be joining the Houston Chronicle as an immigration reporter. She comes from Houston Public Media where she covered the same beat.

She has also freelanced and edited for TeaTime Magazine, The Culture Trip and The Intern Group. She has also freelanced for Public Radio.

She has also reported for KRTS Marfa Public Radio, Business News Americas and KBIA Public Radio.

Trovall was also a business reporter at Hydrocarbons Colombia and an international news reporter at The Santiago Times. She was also a city travel editor at The Daily Meal.

Trovall graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
