Hounshell joins NY Times “On Politics” team

Blake Hounshell

Blake Hounshell is joining the New York Times to help re-engineer and build a new team for “On Politics,” one of the biggest and best newsletters of its kind.

He starts October 25.

Currently, Hounshell is managing editor, Washington and Politics, at Politico. Previously, he served as editorial director for digital and editor-in-chief for Politico Magazine.

He was also with Foreign Policy for over 4 years, where he was managing editor.

Hounshell graduated from Yale University.
