Hill departs Scripps for Washington Post

Angela M. Hill will be joining The Washington Post Video as a senior producer for the enterprise team.

Her new role starts August 23.

She comes from Scripps News Washington Bureau, where she served as a national investigative producer. Before that, she was an investigative journalist with ABC News’ Brian Ross Investigative Unit where she produced stories across all ABC News broadcasts.

For nearly eight years she was a freelance reporter/producer for National Public Radio stations WNYC, WNPR and WSHU. Hill was also a leader in marketing and public relations in the business arena for nearly 15 years.

She has also been a speaker, panelist or moderator for various organizations, including Investigative Reports & Editors Conference, the Washington State School Law Conference, CUNY Graduate School of Journalism, and Howard University International Affairs Fellowship Program.

She has also been awarded two Emmy Awards, two Peabody Awards, the George Polk Award and the Edward R. Murrow Award.

Hill has a M.A. in journalism from CUNY’s Graduate School of Journalism.
