Jed Blackwell, a sports writer at the Spartanburg Herald-Journal, tweeted:
“Friday will be my last day at the Spartanburg Herald-Journal. After 25 years in journalism, 23 in Spartanburg County, and four at the SHJ, it’s time to give something else a try.”
