Michelle Harris has joined The New York Times Opinion Audio team as its new fact-checker.
Harris has more than 25 years of magazine, book, newspaper, radio and online publishing experience. Harris began her career at National Geographic as a researcher. She worked there for more than 5 years before starting her own editorial business, “Boss Lady.”
In 2002, she also served as copy editor at The Press and Sun-Bulletin. Her other clients include Congressional Quarterly, “This American Life,” Serial, “Science Vs.,” “Reply All,” “Radiolab” and “More Perfect.”
Harris is a B.A. in English and History from The College of William and Mary.
