Andrea González-Ramírez has joined the New York Magazine as a senior writer, The Cut. Previously, she was a senior staff writer, GEN, at Medium.
She has also freelanced for Insider, The Lily, The Cut, Cosmopolitan, among other outlets. González-Ramírez was also the recipient of the 2019 Ida B. Wells Fellowship.
She has also interned at, and was a news and politics writer and then a senior news and politics writer, at Refinery29, Inc.
González-Ramírez is a graduate of Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY.
