Globe and Mail editor McAteer goes freelance

Amberly McAteer

Amberly McAteer, editor/chase producer – Globe Comment, has left the Globe and Mail after over 11 years and now works freelance.

She previously served as an online editor and online editor for social media strategy. Her work has also appeared in the Globe’s travel, arts, life and opinion sections. Her work has also been featured in Canadian Living, The Toronto Star and The Hamilton Spectator.

She has also edited for Yahoo and Metro International, which publishes the Metro newspapers.

McAteer graduated from Queen’s University.
