Gannett taps VanEgeren to work at Wisconsin paper

Jessica VanEgeren

Freelancer Jessica VanEgeren has joined Gannett as its local government and social justice/equity editor.

She will be based at the Appleton Post-Crescent.

Previously, she was an associate editor/reporter at Up North News. She was also a politics/state government reporter at The Capital Times. She was also departments editor at In Business Magazine.

She was also a transportation reporter at The Post and Courier and was a city reporter at The Beaufort Gazette.

VanEgeren has a B.A. in journalism from University of South Carolina.
