The BBC has named Tom Fussell CEO of BBC Studios, the network’s commercial production and distribution arm. He will also be a member of the BBC’s executive committee.
Fussell has been interim CEO since last year.
He was also group CFO of Shine Group, a global TV production and distribution business in London. He has also served as group commercial director at HarperCollins Publishers and was finance director, UK publishing, at The Random House Group, a trade book publisher.
He has also worked at KPMG.
