Florida paper names Harrison editor

Casmira Harrison

Casmira Harrison has been named editor of the Palatka Daily News in Palatka, Florida. Previously, she was a government beat reporter covering Volusia County government, Southeast Volusia governments and general assignments throughout the greater Daytona Beach area for Daytona Beach News-Journal in Florida.

Harrison has been with the News-Journal for over 14 years, previously serving as copy editor/page designer/illustrator.

She has also worked at The Sanford Herald in North Carolina and Landmark Community Newspapers in Norfolk, Virginia.
