Amy Fiscus, national security editor at The New York Times, has joined its Morning team as a deputy, overseeing the launch of The Times’ new weekend editions in coming months and helping lead the entire Morning operation.
Previously, Fiscus was Washington bureau editor at the Los Angeles Times. She also worked as an East region weekend supervisor, East desk editor, and state government editor at the Associated Press.
She was also a copy editor and then an entertainment coordinator at The Charlotte Observer.
Fiscus graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
