The Washington Post has hired Emmanuel Felton as its race and ethnicity reporter on the America desk.
His new role begins Jun. 28.
Felton joins from BuzzFeed where he was an investigative reporter.
He is also an adjunct professor in investigative reporting at Hunter College.
Felton has also written on a range of education topics as a senior staff writer at The Hechinger Report. He was also a Spencer Fellow at the Columbia Journalism School and a reporter at The New York World.
He has also freelanced for The Lens.
Felton is a M.S. in journalism from Columbia University – Graduate School of Journalism.
