Euronews has promoted Marthe de Ferrer to the post of head of social media for Euronews Verticals.
In her new role, de Ferrer will write articles occasionally but will be focusing on social media journalism.
Previously, de Ferrer has held various roles at Euronews, including social media producer for Euronews Living/Green, social media lead for verticals and news and features journalist/digital producer. She has also worked at the BBC for over 2 years.
De Ferrer has also worked freelance for various companies.
De Ferrer is a University of Cambridge graduate.
