Daley to join Chicago Reader as news editor

Jim Daley

Chicago Reader has hired Jim Daley as its news editor. He begins next month.

Recently, Daley was at South Side Weekly, where he has served as interim managing editor and politics editor. Previously, he has also worked freelance, with his bylines appearing in Al Jazeera, Nature, Scientific American, South Side Weekly and elsewhere.

Daley has a B.S. from the University of Illinois Chicago.
