He was with The Week for 3 years, where he was a senior editor and contributing writer, with his columns being cited in The New York Times and The Guardian, among others. He was a producer at BuzzFeed and was an associate editor, Reason.com in New York.
He has also worked at Fox Business Network and CBS.
Fisher graduated from Emerson College.
