Community Impact Newspaper hires Nair as metro reporter

Jishnu Nair

Jishnu Nair will be joining Community Impact Newspaper in July as a metro reporter.

Previously, he was a digital content producer at CBS 21 News.

He was also a reporter at TheNewsHouse.com and has served as a staff writer and beat reporter at The Daily Orange, the independent student-run newspaper of Syracuse University.

He was also at CitrusTV for more than 4 years and has served as a field reporter in New Hampshire at WAMC Northeast Public Radio, NPR’s affiliate broadcasting in upstate NY, Vermont and Massachusetts.

He has also interned at Shannon Media, Inc.

Nair holds a bachelor’s degree in newspaper and online journalism from Syracuse University.
