Micah Walker will be joining the Columbus Dispatch as a trending general assignment reporter.
Currently, she is a reporter at The Marion Star, covering education, city government and businesses in Marion County.
Her last day will be Jul. 16.
Walker has also freelanced for Digital First Media and has interned at Marx Layne & Company, the Detroit Free Press and DBusiness Magazine.
She has also worked at Metromode in an editorial capacity.
Walker is a graduate of the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
