CNN has appointed Josh Freedom du Lac as executive editor of the National Digital team.
He joins from The Washington Post, where he recently held the post of director, global live news.
Du Lac has been with The Post for over 16 years and has also served as a pop music critic, enterprise team reporter, editor – general assignment news desk, and live news editor.
He was also the founding co-director of J Camp, a multicultural high school journalism program operated through AAJA (Asian American Journalists Association).
He has also written for The Sacramento Bee.
Du Lac graduated from Whittier College.
