CNN’s Sarah Elizabeth Cupp will be talking media and politics on Oct. 13 at 6:30 p.m. at the DCA. Her discussion, “The White-Hot Intersection between Politics and the Media,” will be a conversation with broadcast journalist Ashleigh Banfield.
Cupp is the host of CNN’s SE Cupp Unfiltered, a weekly Saturday program covering the intersection of politics and media, and a political comment session. Most recently, she also hosted a panel-driven show on HLN.
Cupp joined CNN as a contributor in 2013 and HLN as a host in 2017.
She was also the host of “S.E. Cupp’s Outside With Insiders,” a digital series on CNN.com.
Before joining CNN, Cupp co-hosted MSNBC’s roundtable show, The Cycle. She also writes for the New York Daily News, Glamour and CNN.com. She has also worked as a consultant for HBO’s hit series, The Newsroom, was a contributor to TheBlaze’s Real News and contributing editor for Townhall Magazine.
She also penned “Losing Our Religion: The Liberal Media’s Attack on Christianity” and co-authored “Why You’re Wrong About the Right” with Brett Joshpe.
Cupp is a graduate of Cornell University and earned a Master’s degree from New York University.
