CNN hires Hunt as national and breaking news journalist

Kasie Hunt

CNN has named Kasie Hunt as a national and breaking news journalist.

Hunt joins from MSNBC, where she was host of “Way Too Early.” Before that, she was host of “Kasie DC.” She has also worked as a political correspondent at the network.

Hunt has also served as a Capitol Hill correspondent and before that, as a political reporter at NBC News. She was also a political reporter at The Associated Press and Politico. She has also reported for the National Journal.

Hunt is a graduate of George Washington University.
