Cash to join the Observer newsroom

Rana Cash

Rana Cash will be joining the Charlotte Observer newsroom. Recently, she was executive editor of the Savannah Morning News and savannahnow.com.

She was also a sports director at the Courier Journal and an NFL editor/team leader at the Star Tribune. She has also worked as a deputy sports editor and then as a senior editor at Sporting News. She was also a reporter, blogger and editor at The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

She was also a sports reporter at The Dallas Morning News and The Miami Herald.

Cash has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University.
