C-SPAN has promoted Nathan Hurst to the post of political editor. Previously, he was deputy political editor.
Hurst has been with C-SPAN for over 7 years, and has also served as web producer – digital media, public affairs producer, and Washington Journal Primetime producer.
He was also a staff writer – transportation at Congressional Quarterly. He was also a business reporter and then a Washington correspondent at The Detroit News.
He was also a business and metro co-op at The Boston Globe and a metro intern at The Seattle Times.
Hurst has a B.S. in print and multimedia journalism from Emerson College.
