BuzzFeed News has tapped Ryan Brooks as deputy editor for politics.
Recently, he served as a politics reporter, and before that as a politics intern.
Prior to joining BuzzFeed in 2017, Brooks was at USA Today. He was also a staff writer at The Johnsonian.
Brooks graduated from Winthrop University, where he has also worked.
