The Salt Lake Tribune has appointed Grant Burningham as managing editor.
Previously, he was the editorial director at the School of Pharmacy at the University of California. Prior to that, he was editor at Area 1 Security.
He has also served as a chief home page editor and technology editor at Newsweek. Burningham was also editor at Yahoo News and a producer at The New York Times.
He has worked as a web master at KUER 90.1.
