Bloomberg food critic Vines goes freelance

Richard Vines

Richard Vines has left his role as chief food critic at Bloomberg News to go freelance.

Vines had been with Bloomberg for over 25 years.

He was also with the South China Morning Post for over 6 years, having served as a foreign editor. He was also deputy news editor at The Asian Wall Street Journal.

Vines was also an editorial adviser at China Daily and has served as a foreign news sub-editor at The Times. He has also freelanced for the Daily Mirror and reported and edited for Sheffield Newspapers Limited.

Vines graduated from the London School of Economics and Political Science and holds a postgraduate diploma in journalism from Cardiff University.
